Regional Collaboration with Forest Notes, an Online Live Streaming Service from Forests within Japan

JVCKENWOOD Design Corporation's Forest Notes is an online live streaming service to broadcast the voice of forests 24 hours a day, 365 days a year through microphones placed in the forests within Japan at five locations.

Forestverse Experiments on Emotion and Senses Integrating Real and Virtual

Since around 2016, JVCKENWOOD Design has been proposing content and services that affect human emotions, as part of their advanced design development focusing on "emotions and the five senses." They have developed various prototypes called Senseware, based on Forest Notes, a framework for live-streaming sounds from Japanese forests.

As metaverse has been in the spotlight in recent years, JVCKENWOOD Design launched Virtual SPARK, a metaverse version of the firm's in-house co-creation space SPARK, in 2020.
