Wilkhahn creates and nurtures contemporary German design.

Wilkhahn was founded in 1907 in a north German town by two furniture craftsmen. From its beginnings as a maker of classical wood chairs to its collaboration with the University of Ulm, which carries the mantle of post-war Bauhaus philosophy, Wilkhahn has come to symbolize contemporary German design characterized by the pursuit of functional beauty and dependable technology. Wilkhahn's numerous long-lived products thoroughly grounded in beauty and function based on the design philosophy "originals are eternal" are loved by people all over the world.
