Known for its magazine IMA and website IMA ONLINE, IMA Media Project (part of amana holdings inc.) is now taking its concept of "LIVING WITH PHOTOGRAPHY" even further with the opening of its new IMA CONCEPT STORE. Divided into 3 main areas (IMA gallery, IMA books, and IMA cafe), the store will also be a venue for seminars and workshops hosted by a wide range of photographers, companies, and other significant cultural figures. A space for viewing, reading, learning, buying, and displaying, the store is an authentic setting for visitors to experience first-hand and enjoy photography in a variety of deifferent ways. Produced by Junji Tanigawa, President of JTQ, and designed by Kohei Nawa with his architectural group SANDWICH, this locale aims to be a meeting place for all those with lifestyle interests in fashion, interior design, music, architecture, and gourmet; truly a new cultural hub in the heart of Tokyo.
