Tohru Yamai [President & CEO of Snow Peak]

Auto-camping has become a major part of leisure activities in Japan in the past several decades and a company called Snow Peak is greatly responsible for that trend. The company launched the auto-camping business in 1988. It drastically changed the general notion of outdoor leisure that virtually meant mountain climbing until then and caused the auto-camp boom in the '90s. We had Snow Peak's President and CEO Tohru Yamai talk about the process of establishing the brand and the possibilities inherent in the business of camping.

The Tempest by Royal Shakespeare Company and Intel

Located in Shakespeare's birthplace of Stratford, The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) is a historic theater group. The Tempest, which the company performed at the end of 2016, attracted a lot of attention as a serious collaboration of theater and technology between RSC and Intel. The program was updated and performed once again at London's Barbican Centre for one month and a half from late June.
