The relationship between the city and the Olympics

Despite enthusiastic calls from Tokyo governor and the Tokyo 2016 Bid Committee, the public is not very excited about the Tokyo 2016 Bid Plan. Looking at various media surveys, public opinion is largely divided into yeses and nos, and some even doubt the very meaning of the Olympics itself. Hartmut Esslinger

The eccentrically named frog design was founded in Germany in 1982. Why the word "frog"? They say it's an abbreviation of "Federal Republic of Germany," and that the founder's hometown had a lot of frogs. Operating on the leading edge of design with global corporations such as Apple and Sony as its clients, frog design creates innovative design proposals worthy its naming. Saddles

Thoroughbreds race along the racetracks at a speed of 60 km/h. Jockeys ride with the balls of their feet on the stirrups and their hips raised above the saddles. The piece of equipment that connects jockey and thoroughbred is the saddle. A company called Soms Saddle co., ltd. makes these saddles in Hokkaido where most horses are bred. This company is the only horse-riding gear maker in Japan.
